NEUROPATHY

Last year I fell out of bed & ended up in Hospital for 10 days with kidney failure , pnuemonia , & sepsis I also damaged my right leg which they tell me is neuropathy I have severe pain from groin to ankle my knee is numb & ice cold & I get electric shock feelings in my lower leg .
Have been prescribed Duloxitine & Gabapentin which are doing nothing to ease me , my right leg is now very weak & I'm walking with the aid of crutches , recently had an MRI Scan on my sacral plexus & lumber spine awaiting results !
Just wondered if anyone had any advice ?
 
My advice is don't give up until you have a proper and confirmed diagnosis.

If the drugs used to relieve the symptoms of nueropathy don't make any difference then logic tells me it must be something else.

At least they are still looking, hopefully they will find something and get it sorted.
