Hi all, I'd be grateful for some advice on this..
I really hope this isnt diabetes-related but i've been getting a numb feeling in my right foot. It started off in the area next to the ball of my foot (below the 3 miidle toes) and gradually, over about 3 days, moved along the side to my ankle. It was at its worst on the side of my foot but after 2 days i think it's going - either that or i'm getting used to it! Now its back below my toes :S
I also had a numb feeling in the side of my right hand a few weeks back which lasted about 8 hours but i thought maybe i'd slept on it! I've had type 1 for almost 10 years now but my control is not very good.
I've done some googling and it sounds like peripheral neuropathy, although there is no pain? I'm away from home at the minute so can't really make an appointment with my GP/specialist nurse for a few weeks, so any help or guidance on here would be appreciated
Thanks!
