I have been diabetic for 12 years and now take 2000 mg of metformin a day. My hba1c has always been good at Kees than 7 but I have suffered from neuropathy in my feet for years. This morning I asked my doc about a facial tic that occurs when I am speaking and he said this was diabetic neuropathy ad well. I am at a loss as to what to do now as I really don't want to go into any more meds . I take loads as it is for other problems.
