My neuropathy goes from my left foot up my leg to my left buttock and left testicle, is this normal ?

Hello Billp, as you may be aware, diabetes is primarily a disease of the nerves,so neuropathy can occur almost anywhere in our bodies, when i was first diagnosed my feet felt like i was walking on glass,my bs's were 26.8 and the advices given by my doctor although well meaning were not the so helpful, since finding this forum and going onto a lchf regime my weight has dropped 4st,and my bs's are now regularly 3.5= 4.5 mmols, and my feet are now neuropathy free, so i understand how your feeling ,and hope you manage to get it under control. Hi. I have got Neuropathy in my feet and it wasn't painful BUT had a silly fall at home and have the same pain as you now. I have a small fracture underneath my foot which wasn't visible on the xray but discovered on Nuclear Imaging scan plus lots of nerve damage around my ankle. Now in Cast with a stick and told to rest. This I find very hard as I am a keen rambler. 3 walks a week. Sadly, I know I have to obey Dr orders because I have seen many Diabetics with foot problems. Try and keep your B/S well controlled and this will help. Best wishes
