Actually, I very rarely feel that hungry with a hypo and am often reluctant to treat because of that.Personally, I miss the feeling of hunger and anticipation of a good meal that I had when I'd missed a meal or for example been out for a long cold walk with a delicious casserole awaiting me. It's now only with very low glucose levels that I will feel very hungry
It's an anti-depressant - citalopram. It says on the leaflet that it may cause weight gain, and I can see it would if I ate till I was satisfied, because I never am!not everyone reacts to carb in their diet, but it is very common

IMO, they can put on weight without eating, if you still have a hunger side effect after a couple of weeks, I would see the Dr to swap, there is no good or bad one, it's what suits your system and it's trial and errorIt's an anti-depressant - citalopram. I have felt that way for years often for got to eat for a day or more while working shifts. The first thing my wife used to say time was "have you eaten".
No idea how I was suddenly 20 stone.. I'm sure Ieat more than I used to and have lost loads of weight.
