Hi guys & girls. Been type 1 for almost 35 years now. Looking for some help. I have 3 unused glucose meters 2 Verio IQ & 1 mendor discreet all in their boxes. Found these had been sent to my mother who was diabetic. When we were clearing out her house after she passed away recently. Is there somewhere that would take these or do I just send them to my local recycling centre. Which would seem as waste. I am in central Scotland. If anyone can advise me feel free to help. Thanks. Hope you have all had a good new year.

Regards Stevie

had a similar note to send my old meter on ..
but this is a problem
no 1 ., may have been used, which means they are a HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK BLOOD ect
no 2 cannot be sent by post because off same problems
no 3 you say that they are still in box brand new .that would be different .
but do bear in mind all blood meters will have to meet a new standard i think in may this year so they may not be up to standard ,but still usable if the blood strips are available
suggest you try you local hospital clinic gift to them if brand new try the local d n nurse to
sorry but this new world,,,, is buy use and dispose ,,, ..
hope this helps

Would a charity shop not take them? Seems a shame when there are so many people who could make use of them
