Hi all, I'm new to this forum but not new to diabetes.
I was initially diagnosed as type 1 aged 28 and put on insulin.
But when they realised that I was having to take over 300 units a day (and gaining huge amounts of weight) it was decided that I must be insulin resistant and was therefore put on Metformin as well.
14 years later and I've gone from 10st4 to over 19 stone and back down to just over 14.
So, that's me. Just thought I'd say hello.
