Hi guys, Thanks for all the interest and feedback on my idea. I must say though it is just a conceptual design and is more about the aesthetics rather than the technology inside. I am a product designer and don't have much knowledge on the technology side. However there is a private company developing this technology which they predict should be ready in 2017.
An awesome idea if it can be made to work. Do you have a link for the biosensor?
Is the picture more or less just a computer generated image at this point or are you working with physical mock ups?
Btw for promotional purposes in Europe you want the mockup display to show mmol/L, with a decimal point. For the US markets, show mg/dl not mg/cl. 118 mg/cl = 1180 mg/dl which would be approaching death by hyperglycemic coma.
Thanks for the interest spiker and that note on the US market, Extremely helpful! I will definitely have to change it from 118 mmol/L then!
It is a computer generated image however i am 3D printing mock ups.

mmol/L are different units from mg/dl. Divide by 18 to convert, so 118 mg/dl is about 6 mmol/L. It's a reading that's not perfect but which many or most diabetics would be happy with, especially after a meal.
