can anyone give me the link to converting the hba1c figures into 'old money' so I know what it means.

my last result in september was 7.1 but the most recent was 75%

I have to see my dsn in February but I would like to know how to compare them now.

I found this useful link here on the Diabetes.co.uk main pages. Should help.

[New HbA1c Converter]

Are you sure it was 75% as that is the old way, could it have been 7.5% the new way uses mmol/mol so 75 would equate to around 9% (old money).

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately it was 75 = 9 ! so that will be the spectacular fall off the wagon over Christmas. No, I must be honest - it was for the whole of December.

Back to testing and low carb then ....
