Or maybe this one which does glucose in mmol/l and mg/dl, and hba1c in both mmol/mol and %?

Thanks guys
Makes sense now
Result from review was 65 Hb1ac with a glucose of 10
A Lot higher than previous test results
Not sure why
Previous was 55 creeping up to 58
See What next set of results are
Trying to get back below 57

Done well by Diet control for the past 10 years
Maybe it time for Metformin

It’s worth reassessing the diet first perhaps. Have things crept in that weren’t there before? Are there a few more treats or shortcuts ? Perhaps just keep a food diary for a week and testing alongside before and after meals to see if you can identify some obvious culprits before adding in a medication.

Christmas is not a great time to many treats also understand the recent cold weather can elevate blood glucose.
What I mean about diet is eating healthy and being physically active
I do use a metre to regular check today reading was 7.2 /44
Maybe the high reading following my review may be an error

Or maybe my age is catching up with me Grumpy 70

All carbs (potato, rice, bread, fruits, white or wholemeal) convert to glucose in the body.
So you might find that by dropping the carbs a bit and upping things like cheese, meat, cream, eggs may improve your numbers.

A healthy diet for non diabetics is not necessarily healthy for diabetics who have trouble dealing with carbs.
