New iPhone 16e

I had to change my iPhone SE yesterday because nfc packed up for the second time they replaced it with an upgraded iPhone 16e which now doesn't seem to want to bluetooth readings but needs scanning when I want a reading and i'me not sure wether the alarms are working either as I haven't gone high or low yet ,this is all I need I've got my wife's funeral in two days time and definitely don't need this , anyone got any ideas how to fix thing ? just went to 11.2 and alarm didn't go off so their not working are they .

Really sorry to hear you are having this issue on top of everything else you are dealing with right now.

I don’t use the libre software for alarms on my iPhone as I have loaded third party software. I have however seen some posts on here with people having issues with iPhones running a version of iOS after 18.3 which I think is the latest version abbot say they support.

Hopefully others will be along soon and may have ideas to help.

I replaced my libre sensor with a new one and scanned it and it is now working fine and I got an alarm to say high glucose , it must be the fact that it was started a few days ago with my previous phone but it did work fine for about 12 hours very strange ,all this stress has shot my bg up to 16

I use Android & have swapped phone once during midterm on a Libre.
Carried on OK?
The time before that I did wait for a change.
(Been through about 3 phones. Mine have a habit of getting loaded with “builder’s dust” & overheat then crash out?

Hi @jaywak I have a iphone 16 pro. It’s updated to iOS 18.7.1 I also use Libre 2 (plus) I have had no problems with the readings or the alarms . Do you have an updated App? I believe there are some App updates.
There is not much difference between the 16 e and the 16 pro. The camera is the main difference.
