Hello all
My name is karen and I have Type 2 and some complications. I am taking one day at a time and try to keep positive. This site is terrific and has so much info, resources and support. I will try to work my way through it to learn more.
Can anyone suggest an eBook I can read on my tablet that introduces the beginner to meds, treatments, terms and so on?
Karen

Hi Karen

Welcome to the forum

Daisy will be along with her Welcome post in a bit. When I was diagnosed I immediately downloaded the UK version of 'Diabetics for Dummies' onto my Kindle. It gave me the absolute basics and then I found out much more here.

Hi Karen and welcome to the forum In addition to the e-book mentioned above, here is the information we give to new members which I think you will find useful too. Ask as many questions as you like as we are all here to help.

Thanks for the welcome didi, daisy1 and lucylocket, and thanks for the info also. I will look at getting the books you suggested. I did already find an eBook on UK Lulu that I read over the last couple of days. It is called The Essential Guide to Living well With Diabetes . It was good as a start, ok with the diabetes stuff but better info on skin conditions and other complications I deal with. There is a link here if anyone is interested in looking, cheap enough at 3 pounds.
