Hi I’m Jan having been a member of diabetes uk for a long time I have finally joined this forum. I have been a diabetic for many years but the last year or so my levels have not been good. I retired early due to a knee injury over a year ago and moved back up to Yorkshire. It’s been tough settling into a new life and home. Thankfully I’m getting there and meeting people and getting out. The surgery I am at are brilliant and thankfully my diabetes is beginning to stabilise now. So I just wanted to say hello

Hi Jan, welcome to the madhouse. I'm a bit like you. I have been having bad results for almost a year now, but 2024 has been a horrendous year. So, I have my diabetic clinic visit today and my nurse will, no doubt, give me stick. But, I feel I have my mojo back and am trying now to get better. Once again, hello and welcome.
