Hi, joined earlier so thought I would introduce myself. I'm Terry, 59 years old ( but been told I don't look it or act it! ) I live in Grimsby, N.E.Lincolnshire, UK. I retired two and a half years ago. I have had type 2 diabetes since 2009.
I have been reading some of the forum messages and have been very impressed and inspired. I have already ordered a BG monitor ( after reading a post ) and also received some information on my new meds, again from a post I put up! I wish I had seen this site years ago!!
I have been struggling with my Diabetes for years, doing well then back down again.
I have set myself a goal to loose another 60lbs for my 60th birthday in January. With the information, advice and I'm sure the encouragement from the Forum it can be achieved!!!! So lets get started!!!!!
