Hello! I've just registered on this site. It seems a very slow connection although I have a fast one at this end.

My name is Laurie and I've been a type 2 diabetic for around 12-15 years. I'm now on tablets and bedtime insulin, as of last October, and now 71 years old. Interests Ham Radio, Piano Music, Wine, Siamese Cats, MG cars, and, dare I say it, good food. Married, two children, two grandchildren.

The forum is unbelievably slow and has been for a week or two, not sure the reason why but persevere for now.
 
Hi Laurie and welcome to the forum :) As you can see, we share the same love of cats. Wine too :clap: I hope you will be able to share your experience of Type 2 with us and in turn we will help you if you ask us. Unfortunately the forum has some troubles at the moment but keep persevering as it's worth it. Hopefully these problems will be resolved shortly.

Welcome Laurie. You'll find a great community here. (Didn't know people did ham radio anymore. Always wanted to try it.)
