Hi Everyone,

I have been diagnosed with T2 diabetes for just over 3yrs. I started off on Metformin but they made me considerably ill so was put on insulin (Novomix flexi pen) which seemed to make a huge difference as I have never been able to take tablets. I am also on tablets for blood pressure and chlorestrol and recently some to stop weight gain from the insulin.

I am really struggling with making this a way of life as I always forget to take my medication and really want to gain back the control.

I am joining the gym tomorrow which the first postitive step i've made as myself and my husband are trying to adopt children and they've told me we can't carry on with the application unless our BMI's are below a certain threshold.

Does anyone else or did anyone be as bad as this and how did you get through it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Donna
