Hello friends

I would welcome your advice.

My hospital is suggestion two option for a replacement pump:
1) ypso pump
2) omnipod 5

both with freestyle libre sensors.

I'm currently using medtronic 780g pump with guardian 4 sensors.

I don't know which pump to select!

Thank you.

Personally I would go new 780g with the simplera sensor
Thank you @searley

The only problem is the area health authority has put in a disclaimer we don't have the fund to support any alternatives.

I've asked my clinic for help. Let's see what happens.

I personally hate the libre

If they are providing the software (camaps) prob not then I’d go ypso

Otherwise I’d go omnipod then advantage with omnipod id its a new pump each time

I used to be on libre and found it not as good as Dexcom

I personally love the Omnipod 5 and am using the Dexcom 6. My consultant wanted to move me to Freestyle Libre when the Dexcom contract expired because of cost. I prefer the Freestyle graphics and size but find Dexcom is more accurate. I looked at my lifestyle and concluded Dexcom is more appropriate for me because I swim and he agreed to continue with it - for the time being. I used the Libre for a while before having the pump and frequently knocked it off my arm (free advertising for the Libre!) so I think that the Dexcom worked out cheaper in the end.
