Hello I have been following this forum via tapatalk for some time now and thought it was overdue that I sign up and join in.
As stated it's 30 years this year that I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (I like that so much better than "juvenile diabetes"). So much has changed in that time, both in diabetes care and public perceptions.
Oh and I am Australian.

Hello and welcome:)

I'm sure you'll have a lot to offer the people on this forum.

Thank you all. I hope I can offer some help and advice to others on here. I'm no trained professional but have had plenty of experience both good and bad.
One thing I will say first up is no matter how well you manage your diabetes there are always side complications. I now have gastropariesis where the nerve endings in my digestive tract aren't working properly. I manage this with movicol and yoghurt.
I'm curious if others on here have the same. It does have an effect on my numbers.
