Hi all. New to the forum. I am not diabetic but help my 83 year old mother manage hers. She has been T2 for about 30 years, on Mixtard Innolet insulin for around 10 years. Just advised by the pharmacist that it is being withdrawn from the market. Has anyone switched from Mixtard lately? Bit worried about the possible effects. Grateful for any advice. Mum has been unable to attend hospital diabetic clinic for some time because of other health and mobility problems, not sure how much support will be available from GP.
