Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I am a type 1 insulin dependant diabetic and Ive been diagnosed 14 yrs. I am looking at new meters as my accuchek compact plus is wearing a bit thin now. I've already been given a new accu chek mobile but I also like the look of the mendor discreet but I am struggling to get a hold of one. Anyways, has anyone used either of these two meters and are the testing strips available on the NHS? I hear they are clamping down on costs...

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I will bump your post up for replies as I know other Type1s have posted about having to change their meters and a limited choice.
