Hi Everyone,
After gestation diabetes many years ago, I have been fairly controlled with diet but now at the age of 60, I have been put on metformic sr twice a day and around every two hours have what feels like fast heartbeat (like a panic attack) and discomfort. Not sure how often should eat/drink as up until now, managed on a bit of early breakfast, lunch and dinner (not a heavy eater anyway) am 70 kg. have only been on medication just over two weeks and wondered if anyone had any guidelines or is it just me and all will calm down....its worrying if the quality of life has gone?
