Sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis. There are a number of parents of children with Type 1 here who can well understand how upsetting the diagnosis is. Do look at the Parents section aswell as the general Type 1 section.

It does get easier, but it can take a while to get your head round the whole thing, both emotionally and practically.
