Hi

I have just had a diagnosis of type 2 - medicated - and while I shouldn't be shocked as we have a family history and I fit most of the criteria, I have to say I am struggling with how I feel and following the advice I have been given.
I am a stubborn person :D and don't like having control taken away from me and at the moment I don't feel in control of anything.

Would welcome advice, chats and anything else that you can support me with?

Many thanks

Fi

Hi Fi, and welcome to the forum, yes I think all of us felt out of control when we were first diagnosed!!

Slowly but surely though you will learn about your diabetes and you will get back in control of your life. Have a read round the forum and see what you can find.

Ask us questions, there is always someone to answer.

Hi
BE assured that diabetes is something that needs to be controlled. Once you've learned how your body eacts to food and medicine, You will be able to "control" to whatever level you set yourself.[Most of the time. sometimes the unpredictable happens  ]
