Hi Reynor - Why not! I'm a Type2 of nearly nine years myself. After abusing my body for the best part of 65 years, one of the last books that I read was "Healthy at 100". Given the way I'm changing things through changing my diet, I consider that to be well within my sights! The daughters are getting quite worried about the possibility that they may have to care for me further down the line.

Hi John
I've given up *improving" books and now live by the maxim "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride!'"
