Hi my name's Shell and I'm 20 years old. I have been a type 1 Diabetic since May 2003. When I was diagnosed with Diabetes type 1 I was very stubborn and didn't want any help and shut my family and friends out. Finally after 7 years I have decided to sign up to one of these sites to meet people with the same issues and just some one to talk to really who knows what I'm going through. It will take me a while to get used to using this because it's different to social networks I normally use...so just for now hello to you all
