hi there,

i'm laura, 21 year old from london. was diagnosed in january 2012 and have found it increasingly hard to deal with, accept and control this disease. i attempted three suicide overdoses over the summer using insulin, now i have turned to not using any insulin at all. i seriously need help!

Welcome Laura,

I agree that you do need help and therefore ask you to seek the help of your gp or diabetes care team, don't feel that your all alone living with diabetes as there is help out there but you need to ask for it first.

Hi Laura. I understand diabetes can be hugely stressful and it might feel like you've permanently got a black rain cloud following you around. Please, start taking your insulin again and let this forum help get you back on track. People here are going through the same thing as you and are all living proof that you can be the boss of your diabetes and not let it defeat you.
