Hi everyone,
I am a very new type 1, although my partner has been a type 1 since 8/9 years old (@TallGiraffe). Obviously I have been told to look after my feet, so I went out and got some brand new walking shoes as I am on my feet a lot and walk to work to make sure they are protected properly. However, I have developed several, painful blisters from the new shoes (always happens with new shoes), sod's law that I get them when I am trying to look after them!
Basically, I was just wondering if you guys have any advice on how to treat the blisters and help prevent them from happening? Usually I would just leave them to go away on their own, but since the diagnosis obviously I want to do it properly to prevent any further damage/infections.
