Hi and thank you :) they finally decided I was type 2, they said it was probably because of a combination of my weight and medications (Olanzapine) that I am diabetic. right now I am on Insulin 30 in the morning before breakfast and 24 in the evening before dinner. but they are talking of putting me on a low dose of, is it Metforming? something like that, to see how I get on, along with the insulin, but I heard horror stories about Met but now I am hearing Insulin can be just as bad. my bloods more recently have gotten so much better for example this mornings was 5.5, they are usually between 5.9 and 12.1, I test them before morning and evening meals and before bed. as for my diet it is cereal in the morning, sandwich in the afternoon and a tesco helthy living /weight watchers microwave meal in the evening and I tend to snack on peperami, cheesestrings and mini cheddars during the day
