new type 2 medication

I anyone aware that new medication is going to be available for type 2 diabetics,i know that we normally follow what they do in America,i have seen what looks like a pen to replace tablets :D :lol:
 
Is this Byetta or Victoza?
There are forum members already using these.
They are not often prescibed mainly on cost grounds.
