Hi,
My name is Colum and I have Type 2 Diabetes. First diagnosed correctly 3 years ago next month. Had complained of sore feet and toes but Doc's never caught on. A chance letter / flyer from a pharmaceutical company alerted me to what could be wrong and I then asked for more tests. Positive at 14. Diet has been my main way of controlling it, but due to alcohol sugar level keeps going up and down. Tried the Low Carb Diet, but ballooned after falling of it.
I have been reading your topics and posts here and finally decided to do something about it. Always feeling tired and lethargic and only seeing the Doc's once a year. Just wanted to say thanks for all the postings and any advice I receive about managing diet and exercise will be greatly appreciated.
