Newbie, frustrated with doctors! haha

Please return to your doctor.ive been plagued with an eating disorder all my adult life and there was never any help out there (or I couldnt find it!) But there is now.there are others going ghrough the same as you but it doesnt mean you are diabetic.thetez a whole host of reasons you're feeling like you do.if you cant speak to your doctor, ask to see a nurse, someone you feel comfortable talking to.take my word for it, thete is help for you but I'm not the right person for you as I have my own eating issues.i wish you luck and hope you get the help you so clearly need.sending hugs

As a new poster I apologise if my comments seem a bit odd but as an 'experienced' Type 2 I find the whole Doctor experience to be unhelpful at best. I am lucky to have a knowledgeable Diabetes Nurse who can also prescribe. There are times when the condition will behave in a totally unexpected way, ie Bloods low when you would expect them to be high. I would say in relation to your post that the only way to establish whether you have diabetes is with blood tests. Blood sugar tests only indicate the 'state' at that time.

If your Doctor has not offered a blood test then either ask for one or see another doctor. If the bloods come back indicating no Diabetes then further exploration would be necessary.

It does concern me though that Diabetes is of late being treated as a 'must have' disease by the media and NHS. Frankly I would rather not have it despite being under control most of the time.
