My name is Kim and I live in West Sussex. I've just been diagnosed with Type 2. I was rather shocked with what lies ahead of me. I may need some help please as a newbie.
Thank you Deejay. Daisy has come back to me. I don't understand all these measurements yet. I should know more on Monday I see the doctor. I see the diabetic nurse on the 27thHello Kim, and welcome. You've come to the right place. I'll ask @daisy1 to give you her brilliant guide to managing your diabetes, and then you can ask anything you like. It's certainly a shock at first but all will become clear in a while![]()

Hey, I'm a newbie to type 2 and a newbie to this app too.
I also have RA, Fibromyalgia, IBS, oesophageal spams(which feel like a heart attack) asthma and that's just for starters. Has anyone else got any of these diseases and been diagnosed with type 2? I'm finding the whole combination a tad overwhelming.. Any advice would be very much welcome![]()
