Hi I got wrongly diagnosed with t2 in 2015 and then rediagnosed with t1 in 2016 when I turned 50. I am struggling to come to terms with the whole thing although my son who is now 24 got diagnosed when he was 9 so we have lived with diabetes for many years. I struggle with eating and have become a bit obsessed about timings. Driving any distance terrifies me which is no good as one of my kids lives 100 miles away and the other lives 200 miles away. Drinking alcohol worries me. Oh and I live alone

What insulin regime/meds are you prescribed..

Alcohol. Could you elaborate? do you have an issue? Or just concerns with the occasional partaking..?

Thanks for the welcome. I am on novarapid and lantus 4 injections a day. I'm not a raving alcoholic but have a social drink once maybe twice a week usually only two pints an evening
