I've just discovered this forum and very interested to learn more about Type 2 diabetes as I've just been diagnosed with it, I'm waiting for appointments with dietician etc. but finding it difficult to know what I can and can't eat apart from the obvious. I also take blood pressure tablets and tablets for cholesterol and co-enzyme Q10. I look forward to reading the posts on here as I'm sure they will be a big help. :?

Hi Rozan and welcome to the forum Reading around here is going to help you a lot to understand what to do now. Here is some information that was written for newly diagnosed members which should help you to gain good control of your levels. This includes some advice on diet. Ask as many questions as you need to as there is usually someone who will know the answer.

Hi Rozan welcome to the forum

Welcome Rozan. Daisy's post will give you a good start on what to eat. Make sure you test, record, and analyse the results of what you eat so you know what suits you personally - we're all different.
