Weight: 85.7kg (Starting weight: 87.7kg)
FBG: 6.0 (FBG: 7.3)

So far so good, and I'm delighted with the figures above. Over the weekend I cut down to one shake a day and ate "real" food, so my mood was a lot better. One thing that helped was pooling most of my calories into one larger meal, some for the shake and the rest for a small meal.
Yesterday, for example, I had the shake mid-morning, pan-fried salmon steak with stir-fried veg for lunch, and a clam broth with fresh ginger, spring onion, garlic and soy sauce and wakame (seaweed), with a splash of mirin in the evening. The broth was delicious and warming, and was fine after my large lunch, which I did not finish (my cats polished off the salmon I couldn't manage!).
When I was low-carbing I did intermittent fasting from time to time, living on bone broth, tea and coffee for much of the day with a decent dinner in the evening. Calorie wise, I'd be surprised if I consumed more than 800 calories per day overall.
