I have always bloated when I have had eggs too, I am just wondering if I am sensitive to dairy now specifically cows milk . Should I just carry on as I did and have goats milk in my tea (semi skimmed) and try the goats milk full cream? The thing is the cream did not really effect my readings and filled me up.
Hi many thanks for your replies, my husband is now munching on the Fage 5% and I have got full fat yogurt the Lancashire one. I also bought some fresh full cream and have had that with some, chia seeds & sesame seeds. The thing is I usually have goats semi skimmed milk and have never had fresh cream as I do bloat with cows milk. Now I am bloated lol as I have been having yogurt that is made from cows milk and fresh cream. Incidentally I have never been able to eat cheese as it would give me a huge migraine, yet I can eat cream cheese :banghead: My readings are going down a little, this morning although still high, (when I started this journey they topped 21), it was 10.3 upon waking so I had a cream tea (coffee also gives me a headache), I did not feel hungry until about 11:30am so had an egg, chicken and mushroom omelette with unsweetened almond oil, I also chucked some wilted spinach in with a little olive oil and lightly fried it. I took my reading 2 hours later and it was 13.2:arghh: Would I still get the same amount of nutrients from goats milk/cream. I have noticed that my joints click more than normal and my thighs hurt when on the exercise bike, but that wears off after about 10 minutes. I take a beetroot supplement and a sugar free vitamin c as well as a hair and nails supplement. Is there anything else I could take. Luckily I love fish so I eat as much as I can now!
