Newly diagnosed and confused with diet

Hi I was diagnosed end of Nov 2020.just before in August had an operation and removed my gall bladder.I am confused can’t take fat nor carbs how to balance .Please help me to get going. Thank you

You can actually have fats, just build it up very, very slowly. You could supplement with ox bile (though far as I know not readily available in Europe/UK?) or enzymes to tackle the processing of it, if going slow isn't working sufficiently for you. In the meantime, just focus on low carb and up the protein, so you do have something to run on. Just take it easy. Low carb, little fats which are increased gradually, and plenty of protein. @Antje77 'll step in and give you more useful info, I'm sure.

Hi @Anuk , and welcome to the forum!
You say you can't have fats because of the missing gall bladder. Have you tried or have they told you so?
I had no adverse affects from eating fats after they took out my gall bladder, even without 'slowly introducing' them. I just plunged in with a very fatty meal to see what would happen, and nothing did.

However, official advice is like @JoKalsbeek says, slowly reintroduce fats as to not upset your innards.
There is no official advice to avoid fats forever because of not having a gall bladder.
