Hi I am a newly diagnosed type 2 - I am going for all you can eat Chinese Restaurant later - which I tried to get out of - what should I eat xx thanks in advance xx

Hmm, not good, stick to ribs if they have those, and the veg and duck. Chinese food tends to have sugar in the sauces. I'm sure someone will be along to give other advice.

I have Peking duck no pancakes, ask for lettuce to use as wraps, tiny tiny amount of sauce, chop suey, or chow mein I find I am ok with a few noodles, I find ribs difficult as usually cooked in sticky sauce even if there is no sauce on them. Sides of stir fry veg. The biggest thing is make sure they don't use MSG its lethal stuff for BS.

Avoid curries as unlike Indian curries they are usually thickened with flour. Have a nice time and enjoy the company, way more important than the food.

I do Queen eating quite a lot (putting a tiny bit of something on your plate and push it around a bit whilst chatting away - people tend to think you've eaten some - this is what our queen and does!)
