Thanks y'all. I don't actually know what the tests were. I gave the blood, they did their thing and I had a conversation. My signature was a little fun. I gotta have the fun or the diabetes will drive me potty. I've been told I was a Type 1 by my specialist and now I'm learning that cannot happen. I learned yesterday there was LADA, which sounds more like what I am. The truth is, since joining the forums I've been told lots of information that has shaken the 'facts' I've been given by my specialist. I was never given the names of the tests, and only told the results (at least a year ago). Please don't be mad at me @catapillar :( all that I knew has suddenly been turned upside down. I will certainly have the conversations about the specifics in time. But for now, I know what meds I use (Humalog/Lantus), how much to use, and how to keep myself under good control. Which I guess is the most important thing :)
