Hello , I am new to this , I was diagnosed with T2 some 6 months ago ,I have had all the tests done , feet , eyes , dietician , group new diabetics meeting etc . I have however noticed my finger tips are are quite numb on the pads. Does anyone else have this ? My feet are numb anyway , The nurse said that was the diabetes on my feet.
My HBA1C is 6.2 ( Diagnosed at 8.2 on 2 counts ) and they said I am doing really well on Diet only , so no medication . Its really Hard going ! But I must do this . I gave up smoking , and its a tough call going cold turkey on sweet food ! I suppose the question is will the numbness spread ? My feet are permantely numb .
I am 52 .
