Hi, I was diagnosed back in March of this year. Still awaiting the test to find out whether I’m type one or two. Given my job I have decided to use a sensor. Last night (new sensor) my low glucose alarm went off twice (below 4.0) yet my sensor was reading 9 and 10. Got awakened this morning with my alarm. Sensor said 3.9 and then jumped to 4.4. Finger print said 9.1. I know that there is a delay and I know that there are some inaccuracies between the finger prick and the sensor, but should it be that big? Thanks.

No there should not be that much of a difference between a cgm and a finger prick test and I would say there is a chance that they were compression lows were you have laid on the sensor and it's given a false reading .
