Thought I'd better say hi, as I have been lurking in the background for a couple of weeks..
Got diagnosed about 4 weeks ago, and put on Lantus and Apridra.. It's not been as a bad as I thought when I heard the news, but suppose it will take some time to come fully to terms with the new life style.
Must say, I have found this forum extremely useful for picking up hints, tips and general information but the most important thing for me was the reassurance that I'm not alone.. So thanks.. Without knowing it, you all have been a great help...
