Hi there, Sorry, yes I should have said low carb, I just meant I’d cut out bread/pasta/rice/cereals. Not been back to the doctor to have further tests and I’m not due for another hb1ac test until mid/end June. I am making any sauces I eat, the tomato sauce I make is just a tin of tomatoes, water, basil and a little olive oil. However I can see how is still contains sugars particularly when cooked. I really hope the dietitian doesn’t recommend brown carbs as I obviously can’t cope with them. As I’m paying for the session I’ll be unhappy if she does! I’m still waiting for my scan, after that if things are no clearer I suppose I need to go back to my dr and push for more tests. As for my diet I’ll have eggs and avocado or Greek yoghurt and a few berries for breakfast, soup or a salad with tuna/chicken or goats cheese/feta for lunch and for dinner, a piece of fish or meat with salad or green veg, or a homemade veg sauce with runner beans (my pasta substitute). I suppose it’s just trial and error for now [emoji4]. Thanks again for all your advice xx
