If you omit/limit bread/rice/potatoes that still leaves quite a lot of Indian food one can enjoy.

I had a prawn madras and vegetable curry myself last night. I just ate them with a couple of papadums instead of rice.

Hello and welcome to the forum. It can be a big shock when diagnosed, also confusing, bewildering and a bit scary too. It will take a little time to come to terms with the changes, but it usually does get easier, just take your time and as others have said, this is a good place for support and advice. ps You could have a google as well about type1 management. Good luck :)

Take care RRB :)
