You may have a shock when you test after your shredded wheat biscuits, but you may be lucky!
Be careful with carrot and radish - not too much. Try drizzling some olive oil or real mayo over your salad as it will help fill you up, and we need some fat in the absence of carbs.
 
hi,welcome to the forum, as a few people have said, steep learning curve and lots of experimenting ahead to see what works for you, so hang on in there and things will become clearer in time. i'm on a lchf diet and i was advised to leave at least 5hrs between meals with no snacking in between, in order to give my system time to reset itself after eating. if i have an early start i'll eat 3 meals a day, but i often only have 2, usually with decent-sized portions. my bg levels are now well within normal levels with no meds - very high when i was diagnosed a few years ago.
