newly diagnosed .....

and a little upset. Was due for surgery on Friday 27th but got a call on the 24th from hospital to say I should see my Dr as my blood test showed high insulin levels and surgery could not go ahead until this was lowered. Surgen had put me on metaformin three weeks earlier without any explanation of why...more than a little upset, my GP has been great and I'm booked in for the diabetic clinic on the 7th of Dec.

been reading some of the posts and have helpped me feel better already... :) :wink:
