Hi All,

I have just been diagnosed with type 2.

It hasn't come as a huge shock as I grew up with my mum who was type 1 uncontrollable so I've grown up with diabetes.

It hasn't helped that in February 2021 I caught Covid and still have long covid and due to my lack of mobility now Diabetes, I've been put on tablets and have my first appointment with the nurse on 15th

Hi C19James,

Welcome to the forums.

I also have type 2 but and am a tad disabled so don't have much mobility either, b**** isn't it. Sorry to hear you have long covid now as well and do hope it does sort itself out for you soon. I have no experience with covid but know a few people here have gone through it as well so hopefully they will be along in the morning to offer some help and advice. :)
