100g Greek full fat yogurt
50g strawberries
20g flaxseed

decaf coffee with double cream a bit later
Lunch
1 egg
3 rashers bacon
1 Black Farmers 90% sausage
loads of mushrooms fried in butter
1 grilled tomato
half a slice of fried bread (because I can. You may not be able to)
cup of tea with dash of milk
Tea
1 slice of garlic bread (because I can. You may not be able to) with mayonnaise and garlic mushrooms
120g fillet steak
1 grilled tomato
mushrooms cooked in butter
6 chips deep fried in rapeseed oil (again, because I can, maybe you can't)
2 glasses red wine.

Gallons of water throughout the day

Thanks... Very helpful

More ideas for me now... Thanks

Thank you. I will check on the forum for more information. As for meter... I don't want to think about it now. I fear needles and anytime I see blood I get a serious headache which no medication has been effective until it fades off on it's own after 3 days.
It doesn't matter whether it's my blood or someone else and my doctor still don't have a solution to that.
I really wish sugar levels can be monitored without me seeing blood. It's such a shame for me

Check out the Freestyle Libre.
It's too expensive for me, at the moment, but if the price ever drops...

Have you ever heard or read about treating diabetes with "a new molecular therapy that uses targeted peptides and proteins to restore cellular function"?

Yup.
Every so often someone creates a profile and makes a few posts promoting this awesome new treatment.
Then we never hear from them again.

I just dismiss it as
Then I put the poster on IGNORE

Wow, I will love to have one. The only problem is the sensor replacement. If I buy one it means I will need £ 114.00 every month to continue the monitoring. The company should know that this is an expensive gadget if it has to be used continuously.
They should reconsider the price for affordability

I totally agree.
But give it a year or two, and maybe the price will come down.
I hope.

Hi Tammy

I personally would try to eliminate the worst carbs such as bread, pasta n rice n potaoes for a month.have a look at the liw carbing recipes and try to eat more fat ie some cream in coffee etc...
Your levels if you do that will drop.

Hard over christmas, but have a look at the christmas posts here.. There's some good ideas.

Honest if you can eliminate the worst carbs for a month.

There is some good advice for low carbing coming along hopefully very soon for diabetics....
