Hello! I'm 22 and was diagnosed with type 1 a month ago. I was just wondering (girls) if your periods stopped before/during diagnosis? I was admitted to hospital with DKA and bg was 41, apparently the trauma can cause you to miss periods/stop having them altogether? Just wondered how long this lasts for and if it's common?
