Hi There,

My 4 year old son got diagnosed early March with T1. He's still in the honeymoon period so not yet on background. A few weeks before he was diagnosed he started really sweating in the night and wetting the bed. When we got the diagnosis i realised it was because of high bloods. Since then, whether he goes to bed a bit high (he still brings himself down over night) or within range he still gets dreadful night sweats. He can soak through his pajamas within an hour of falling asleep. Is this normal and does anyone know what causes it if not high BM?

Sweating during the night can also be down to low bg, are you testing through the night to see what's happening with bg?

Also it could be something not related to diabetes xx

Hi same as @mahola i sweat if my bloods go very low and my 2 yr old does if she is hypo but she seems to sweat when she is in the 4 range.
Daft question possibly but your rooms aren't too hot? My diabetes fluctuates a lot in hot weather too (I've been diabetic since I was 2) x
